Everything takes time, an this rings true for myself....Starting writing poetry and verse at ther age of 7, it took until the age of 24 to take the step from paper to the mic.

Growing up in the Norther NSW town of Lismore, my only exposure to hip hop was the run of the mill gansta $hit, Snoop, Cube, Ice T, an to be honest, i just didnt relate to this(must admit, i did relate to, an loved cypress hill, ahh, wonder why) ...My love of verse couldnt overcome the fact that i didnt dig what was being said, although ,then i heard 2pac, i saw that poetry could exist in the gutter. Still it took moving to brisbane in 97 an gettin my first xposure to Aussie hip hop with Bias B, Mass MC an the like, to really ignite my passion for the music. Meeting XXI in late 99 was the final peice....

My flow aint the usual run of the mill MC style, relying very little on punch lines an metaphores, an based almost completely on having perfect prose.An it has to all make sense, if i get a line that out of place, scratch that, an start again...

I write about whats real to me, friends, family, my girl an whats goin on...It usually comes from a bit of a dark tip, but sometimes u get that little bit of sunshine breaking through, like my song twent7 on this page.More tracks to come soon.

Now working with live hip hop crew, "FittMobb", with Ghosty(ozalians) eMCYTe(schoolfight) an myself on the mics, with super talenterd musos backing us up, JB(schoolfight) on keys, A1(hipakusha) on bass, Uncle Bucket (schoolfight an about a thousand other groups) on drums an Mr DJ Oldmate on the cuts..We are about to record our debut album with a string of burner shows under our belts.

Also am involved in a collection of Upcoming Brissie crews, under the banner of "Downplay". We have been putting shows on an are about to release our first album, "The First Downplayment", Featuring the Whole Downplay crew..
