Drew Wilson has been delivering his brand of “Diesel-esque balladry to very receptive audiences” (KURT SANDERS, Rave Magazine APRiL 2007) and is turning industry heads rapidly.
Drew has already been signed up to a full endorsement from MATON GUITARS, arguably Australia’s premier acoustic guitar manufacturer (check where he is on their TOP friends!!), a string endoresment from newcomer DUKE NOIR, a management deal through WILSON MUSIC MANAGEMENT and in Late 2007, Drew finished in the TOP 10 in the MUSIC OZ - People's choice award, Australia's biggest unsigned artist competition. He is well on the way to being as Belinda Berry writes, “the next Pete Murray” (IMAGE Magazine, issue 03 April 07).
“What Drew has achieved in two months, I have seen other artists take up to 2 years to achieve!” (Stephen Green – Australian Music Biz).
In 2007 He supported...The Young Divas (HOT 91 Beach Concert), The Screaming Jets, 1927, Glen Shorrock, Dan England and performed at the Caloundra music festival and the Big City BBQ (supported by Triple M)
In 2008, Drew is writing and performing in Canada and getting ready for a BIG 2009. Keep an eye out for a debut album which will be produced by the very talented and in-demand JIMI MAROUDAS, (Tim Rogers, Pete Murray, Ben Smith Band, Augie March...).
It will be worth the wait!!
