NJE is a hard working Independent Hip-Hop artist hailing from Campbelltown in Sydney Australia, (Originally born in New Zealand). He has always had a love & passion for Hip Hop & started writing in 1999. He makes Hip-Hop music with feeling, & thought that your everyday person can relate to. His topics are life related, so he gives you nothing but the truth through a fusion of soulful & street laced beats... In early 2008 NJE signed to local Indy label SOUL CONNECT RECORDS to ensure his music gets heard. He is also managed by SOUL CONNECT’s ANTHONY NICITA & works with the label to make sure his music is heard by the people.

Heres a few of NJE’s Achievements so far...

- In 2002 NJE Performed on CHANNEL V’s prime time show WHAT YOU WANT alongside EMINEM’s crew D-12 infront of near 3000 people.

- In 2004 NJE’s album track “SIGN OF THE TIMES” got voted into the top 5 (Hip-Hop Category) at the 2004 MUSICOZ AWARDS in Wollongong. it was up against Aus Hip-Hop giants BLISS N’ ESO’s ”THIS IS FOR YOU” who earned the top spot that year.

- In Late 2005 NJE without a label, Independently released his debut album NJE: LIFE'S SCRIPTUREZ to JB HI-FI stores & otherIndy Hip Hop stockists all around AUS & online..

- His debut release included tracks like “SIGN OF THE TIMES” & “SITUATIONZ” which recieved alot of airplay on TRIPLE J &THE EDGE 96.1fm, as well as many local stations around Australia. NJE’s hard work & persistance was finally paying off.

- NJE’s tracks “PALMS OF MY HANDS” & “SIGN OF THE TIMES” were featured on NURCHA RECORDS mixtapes

- In 2008 DJ NINO BROWN heard “SIGN OF THE TIMES” & digged the track so much that he interviewed him a few weekslater on his TRAIL BLAZIN’ RADIO SHOW (96.1fm)

- Since NJE’s debut release he has performed in South Australia, Canberra, & many shows in & around the suburbs of Sydney. He also performs at charity events & youth events to help good causes & to help guide the young up & comers.

- NJE has also made a PROMO STREET TEAM of fans around AUSTRALIA to help spread the word with FREE cd’s &promo stickers/posters/flyers. The team is constantly growing..

- In late 2007 NJE recorded a track with US R&B/Soul artist DANNY BOY ( he sung the hook in the2pac classic: I AINT MAD AT CHA ) the track is called “WILL I EVER” & will feature on NJE’s new LP.

- Since NJE’s first release he has recorded near 40 tracks & decieded to do a mixtape & follow it up with a new LP titled “FROM THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN..” in late 2008 to early 2009.

- In 2007 NJE & DJ D-KUTZ teamed up to record a fully mixed in mixtape called THE INDEPENDENT HUSTLER’S MIXTAPE.. it is currentley avaliable to by online via NJE’s myspace (PAYPAL or MONEY ORDER) or at NJE shows.. The mixtape will be instores AUS WIDE by early to late MAY 2008.

- NJE is currently planning his MIXTAPE TOUR with BRISBANE & MELBOURNE shows locked in for MAY,expect other states to get dates announced in the near future too..
