Light Noise formed in 2006, and have done some stuff like:

• Played New Years Eve 2006 with Silverchair, The Beautiful Girls & Something With Numbers.

• Supported some of their favourite Aussie bands such as Trial Kennedy, Operator Please, Evermore, Mammal, British India, 28 Days, Regular John, I Heart Hiroshima, Die Die Die & Tex Perkins.

• Won Newcastle’s 2006 Expozay Band Competition, Came runner up in the 2006 Newcastle Music Week Band Competition and won Best Rock Song at the 1233 ABC Music Awards 2007 for their song “Don’t Run’k”

• Released their first Self-Titled EP in October 2007 with a master licensing deal through indie label Reign Records distributed by MGM.

• Featured on Blunt Magazines July 2008 ‘Loud Noises’ compilation CD

• Currently touring their Self titled EP and recording again in early 2009
